Skipper Richard will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24’ Tudor Manufacturas boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. For a better fishing experience, the boat is equipped with outriggers and downriggers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

8 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
Big Game vom feinsten am 13.09.+14.09.2024
Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, mit John, dem Sohn von Kapitän Richard, auf das Meer vor dem Diani-Beach zufahren. Ein wirklich netter junger Mann mit richtig gutem Auge und Geschick im Umgang mit Boot und Angelgerät. Natürlich gilt das auch für seine Crew. Schon bei der ersten 8-stündigen Ausfahrt sahen wir Schwärme von Gelbflossenthun aus dem Meer springen um zu jagen. Mehrere Fische attackierten unsere Köder. Dann kam dieser magische Moment, als plötzlich dieses Schwert und der Körper eines Sailfish hinter dem Boot auftauchte. Dieser schnappte sich den Köder und raste davon. Leider saß der Haken nicht richtig, und der Fisch konnte sich befreien. Nach diesem Erlebnis entschloss ich mich am nächsten Tag noch einmal zu einer 4-stündigen Ausfahrt. Was da passierte war unglaublich. Noch mehr Schwärme von Thuner ( leider blieb keiner am Popper hängen) Aber !!! Trotz Vorsaison konnten wir 2 Sailfische ins Boot bringen und sahen noch 2. Dieser junge Mann hat es echt drauf. Beim Fischen weiß man nie was passiert, aber wenn was geht bekommt es John hin. Nochmal vielen Dank für diese besondere Zeit.

An Amazing Day of Fishing the Kenyan Coast with Captain Richard
My cousin and I had an amazing full-day fishing trip with Captain Richard and his skilled, friendly, and professional crew. We had been looking forward to this trip for months, and all of our expectations were met and exceeded! I will never forget chasing down massive schools of yellowfin tuna as they launched themselves out of the water—what an exciting way to fish! Richard and the crew did everything right to put us on the fish, and we were rewarded with a beautiful yellowfin tuna which provided the freshest and tastiest sashimi I have ever had. If you ever find yourself on the Kenyan coast, do yourself a favor and book your fishing trip with Richard. Of course, with fishing nothing is guaranteed, but if you do take your chances on the beautiful blue waters of the Kenyan coast, go out with captain Richard: you'll be thankful you did!

4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle Offshore
Wahoo and humpbacks!
My wife and I visited Diani on our honeymoon and booked a 4 hour trip with Grey Grander. Fishing with Captain John and the crew was a blast. We caught Wahoo, Trevally, and saw multiple humpback whales. This was the early season, so we did not target marlin/sailfish. Our fish was filleted for us on return, and we were able to have it cooked same day at the resort. Would highly recommend booking your own trip!

Great deep sea trip
Had tons of fun with Richard,Liam, and Katama on this trip. They really tried hard to get me on the fish. Had a blast searching for the tuna and casting poppers, managing to hook a goodie too! Thanks to the guys.
