Skipper Richard will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24’ Tudor Manufacturas boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. For a better fishing experience, the boat is equipped with outriggers and downriggers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

8 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
Big Game Fishing at its Finest on 13.09.+14.09.2024
It was an unforgettable experience heading out to sea off Diani Beach with John, Captain Richard's son. A really nice young man with a keen eye and real skill handling both the boat and fishing gear. Of course, the same goes for his crew. Right on our first 8-hour trip, we saw schools of yellowfin tuna jumping out of the water while hunting. Several fish hit our baits. Then came that magical moment when suddenly this bill and the body of a sailfish appeared behind the boat. It grabbed the bait and took off like a rocket. Unfortunately, the hook didn't set properly, and the fish broke free. After that experience, I decided to go out again the next day for a 4-hour trip. What happened then was incredible. Even more schools of tuna (unfortunately none stayed hooked on the popper). But!!! Despite it being pre-season, we managed to boat 2 sailfish and spotted 2 more. This young man really knows his stuff. When you're fishing, you never know what'll happen, but when fish are biting, John makes it happen. Thanks again for this special time.

8 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing
An Amazing Day of Fishing the Kenyan Coast with Captain Richard
My cousin and I had an amazing full-day fishing trip with Captain Richard and his skilled, friendly, and professional crew. We had been looking forward to this trip for months, and all of our expectations were met and exceeded! I will never forget chasing down massive schools of yellowfin tuna as they launched themselves out of the water—what an exciting way to fish! Richard and the crew did everything right to put us on the fish, and we were rewarded with a beautiful yellowfin tuna which provided the freshest and tastiest sashimi I have ever had. If you ever find yourself on the Kenyan coast, do yourself a favor and book your fishing trip with Richard. Of course, with fishing nothing is guaranteed, but if you do take your chances on the beautiful blue waters of the Kenyan coast, go out with captain Richard: you'll be thankful you did!

4 Hour Trip – Light Tackle Offshore
Wahoo and humpbacks!
My wife and I visited Diani on our honeymoon and booked a 4 hour trip with Grey Grander. Fishing with Captain John and the crew was a blast. We caught Wahoo, Trevally, and saw multiple humpback whales. This was the early season, so we did not target marlin/sailfish. Our fish was filleted for us on return, and we were able to have it cooked same day at the resort. Would highly recommend booking your own trip!
