Capt. Mike will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and Shark, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, drift fishing, and popping.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 23’ Parker boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers. This boat comes with an ice-box.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Captain Mike was outstanding from start to finish. He’s easy to talk to, keeps the trip fun and relaxed, and knows Galveston waters inside and out. We caught sheepshead near South Levy, and it was clear he knew exactly where to put us for success. On top of that, he’s a true salty South Texas Hemingway—full of stories, character, and hard-earned local knowledge that makes the experience just as memorable as the fishing. Great shark trip !
4-5 Hour Shark Trip PM on August 2, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child
Mike was great , we scheduled for Saturdays and after about 45 minutes on the water we got notice that a storm was coming and the water got decently worrying . Mike assured us that if we could not go back out we could come back Sunday morning and we definitely did . Started with a little jetty fishing got some Spanish mackerel and a spotted trout after that we got 2 sharks a spinner shark and an ultimately the black tip we kept. He was very accommodating and overall a great captain to book with . 10/10 will definitely be re booking our next trip to Galveston .

Captain Mike knows where the fish are located. We took the kids out for a 4 hour trip and caught a lot. We ran out of red drum tags and had to throw them back. I would highly recommend Captain Mike for a good catch.
