When the weather for our original booking was terrible, Captain Curtis was more than accommodating when we asked to change the date. When one of our party was having a difficult time handling the sea, Captain Curtis again came through with kindness, compassion, and advice to help him get over it quickly when the trip was over. We caught a couple, left a few in the sea and overall had a fantastic trip. We whole heartedly recommend booking with Captain Curtis and will be booking with him again the next time we’re in the neighborhood!

Once in a lifetime trip with Curtis. There is no one else that can compare because we felt like we’d known him forever with his easy-going attitude and dedication to making the trip perfect. It was truly was out of this world. He has a job to do but it’s not a job it’s his passion, comfort and safety on the boat is always his paramount concern. Curtis is incredibly modest and does not show his ego amongst everyone else in the fishing grounds following us and watching our every move he just says this must be where the fish are. If I ever have the chance to go back it will be on this boat with his Captain because there are memories made that we will all cherish for the rest of our lives.

We started from Island West marina in Ucluelet on Capt. Curtis’s Overtime charter. The boat is strong, sturdy and feels very safe. The cabin is very warm and dry if it happens to rain. Curtis is a knowledgeable captain who told me he has fished these waters for years. We had our two children aboard. Curtis immediately got them involved by teaching them to catch squid by themselves. Big bonus, they also caught salmon on the same poles they used fishing for squid. We got limits of Salmon and also went halibut fishing. We anchored up and had some lunch. Not much of a wait and we had fish on! We got four nice halibut and a surprise ling cod. We processed 165 pounds of fish for one day of fishing! Curtis said it’s not always this good but judging from the boats around us, we were catching while they were fishing. It pays to go with experience. Bravo to Overtime Charters! Kid friendly family fun with a knowledgeable seasoned captain! No regrets. He really works hard to make it as enjoyable, safe and successful as possible. Great job!

My husband and son had the best time catching salmon, and they hit their limit for the day. The captain was knowledgeable, had great equipment, and a well-made boat. Would highly recommend!

Curtis is a great guy and knows his stuff. We catched some nice fish and had a great time with him on the ocean.

Limited out on chinook by 7:00 and then cruised out to limit on legal sized halibut!

I took my three boys salmon fishing with Captain Curtis. They had never fished salmon. We had a great time on a great boat on the stunning West Coast. Curtis was very accomadating and helpful. We also caught a lot of fish. Great memories.
