Spend a day fishing the waters of Ucluelet, British Columbia, with Overtime Charters. Capt. Curtis’ experience and guest-centered approach give a great foundation for a successful day aboard for novice and experienced anglers alike. Capt. Curtis will encourage his guests to engage in running the gear to get the full experience of the fishing trip.

You’ll fish from the Overtime, a 2018 32’ custom Northwest Aluminum Craft with a 10’ 6 beam that can accommodate up to 6 guests. it runs on twin 300 HP Suzuki outboard engines and has also got a 30 HP Suzuki kicker. The Overtime is outfitted with twin 2106 Scotty downriggers as well as Simrad electronics – a radar and auto-pilot that will help you have a safe and fun trip. There’s a private marine head (toilet) forward and a guest lunch and beverage cooler (separate from the fish cooler) for your convenience.

The species you can encounter on your trip include Chinook and Coho Salmon,  Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish. You can target Salmon and Lingcod along the rockline or you can venture offshore to the banks for Halibut and Salmon. You can retain or release the fish you catch and the captain will clean it and put it on ice.

The captain provides premium fishing gear for both left and right-hand anglers. Please bring snacks and drinks for your group, as well as fishing licenses. The captain also recommends wearing layered clothing and bringing rain gear.
