Tofino, located in beautiful BC, is the place to go if you want to truly be at one with nature. It's home to stunning scenery, local wildlife, natural hot springs, and some incredible fishing grounds to top it off. With Tofino Ocean Adventures, you'll be treated to a personal and professional tour of the Clayoquot Sound, home to Salmon species, Lingcod, and more. Get ready to experience what these waters have to offer!

Captain Brody Pigeau is the man behind Tofino Ocean Adventures, and his main goal is to provide his guests with an unforgable experience that will be cherished for years to come. A day on the water with him isn't just limited to incredible angling action – you can also choose to head to the hot springs, go sightseeing and wildlife viewing, and drop crab traps as you make your way out to the fishing grounds.

Capt. Brody runs a family-friendly charter, and warmly welcomes guests of all ages and abilities on board his 25' Parker offshore sportfishing vessel. There's space for up to 4 anglers, with plenty of room to tangle lines and take in the stunning scenery at the same time. She's equipped with GPS and fishfinder, an enclosed toilet, and life jackets for all ages.

Tofino provides plenty of great fishing opportunities – depending on your preference and local weather conditions, you can head up to 8 miles offshore, which provides the best chance to troll for Chinook and Coho Salmon, bottom fish for Halibut and Rockfish, and jig for Lingcod. Don't overlook the calm inshore waters, either – you can test your skills against Chinook Salmon until August, and Coho Salmon migrate here between June and October.

Capt. Brody believes in preserving these incredible waters for future generations of anglers – his boat is built for catch-and-release, but if you want to take home some dinner, he'll expertly fillet it for you. Rods, reels, lures, and tackle are included. Get ready to discover nature at its finest with Tofino Ocean Adventures!

Amazing experience
4 Hour Adventure on March 25, 20261 adult1 child
Went fishing with Captain Brody (of Tofino Ocean Adventures) in the shoulder season with my son. Brody was an absolutely fantastic guide, host and local knowledge expert. From the beginning Brody integrated us into the trip, encouraged my son, and was very patient with our newbie background. We caught salmon, prawns and cab; and learned a bunch about fishing and local culture. Our experience was fantastic and my son is certainly hooked. This will become an annual trip for us and hope Brody will be there to guide us. Thanks Brody....5/5!!

Dad’s 70th Birthday!
Half Day Trip on May 11, 20254 adults
First of all, the dock was easy to find, parking was easy and Captain Brody was ready for us even though we arrived 15 minutes early both days. Mom uses a cane and had no accessibility issues at all. The store was open and offered us coffee and a clean washroom to use before we headed out to sea. Brody greeted us kindly and I immediately knew that we liked him. Before we headed out he asked if we’d like to drop a crab trap but we declined and chose to wait until day 2. The morning was great. We wanted to target halibut as none of us had ever caught one before. Captain Brody went straight to a spot he had scouted out a few days earlier. It was amazing! We limited out with 4 halibut in an hour and 15 minutes! (This wasn’t expected and I wouldn’t suggest this expectation) From there Captain took us out trolling where my wife hammered a 15lb Spring (again, this too was unexpected this early in the season and we were the only boat to catch a Spring on this particular day) We also hooked into a few smaller lings which was a bonus because we wanted to target lings on day 2. Back to the dock by 1 and Brody cleaned all our fish before we dropped them off to the packer. Day 2 Again we were a bit early and Captain was ready. We dropped a crab trap and headed out for lings. To our amazement we limited out with 12 lings by 10 o’clock! These lings were much bigger than the day one lings. Dad caught a lunker one his 70th birthday! Brody took us out to target a few rock fish and again we limited out with 12 black rock fish in about 30 minutes. At one point all 4 of us were fish on and Captain Brody handled it like a boss! We still had some time left so he took us back to do a troll for Springs. We didn’t get another Spring but really enjoyed the ride. We went and pulled the trap which had a few nice dungees in there. Brody kept them in a live trap for us until we left the next morning. Again he cleaned all our fish and we dropped off the lings to the packer for pick up the next morning. ($2.75 a pound for processing and flash freezing but well worth it knowing your fish is going to make it home in perfect condition) I could say allot more but you’re probably getting tired of reading… lol. Bottom line. It was our greatest 2 days of fishing in our lives. (and we do allot of fishing) Captain Brody is the Man! I highly recommend him!
