What an amazing adventure! Josh took fantastic care of us and made sure we were on the fish!! I couldnt be happier

Josh was able to accommodate my last minute decision to fish. Suggested an early start to beat the wind and boats. 100% worked out. First cast landed fish. Great knowledge of key spots was clear. Boat was perfect and gear top notch. Really enjoyed his company and enthusiasm. The giant Snook hook up was a thrill….Brought home dinner - sheepshead. Super trip, great guide and really solid dude. Highly recommended.

My girls and I had a blast today fishing with Capt Josh He was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us the whole trip, He had us on a wide variety of fish in different areas in the Islands. Will definitely use him again!

My girlfriend and I had a great time on a 4 hour backwater trip. Josh told us it was going to be windy and it may be tough but we had an epic tour through the backwater on our way to a few go to fishing holes. We got lucky and got on fish early and didnt have to bounce around much. Dude knows what hes doing and vibes were great through and through. BOOK IT!

I went on a 4 hr trip with Capt. Josh. He put me on fish right away and I caught 4 different species; jack, sea trout, snook and grouper. I had a large snook on the line, but lost it near the boat. My only regret is I should have booked a longer charter.

Excellent adventure, Captain Josh new the fishing spots for a perfect day of catching fish.

If you’re looking for a great backcountry fishing trip while visiting the Marco Island Area a day on the water with Captain Josh is exactly what you want! He is a young aggressive local born and raised Captain who knows the waters like the back of his hand. Our trip was booked for Monday morning and he called us on Saturday afternoon and asked if we wanted to switch to Sunday afternoon because bad weather was forecast for Monday. We said yes and met him at noon at the Goodland Marina Park. He had tons of fresh caught bait (no purchased shrimp here) and top notch custom rods and reels. The boat was spotless and in great condition! I had my wife with me and she loved Josh! Oh yeah by the way we caught 25 Snook a Mangrove Snapper and a Jack. The most fun and best day ever fishing in SW Florida.

We had an AMAZING day out on the water today fishing with Captain Josh!! My son and I wanted to have a Father/Son day doing some fishing and chose Captain Josh from amongst the many choices available in the Marco Island/Naples area and he delivered on all accounts. First, Josh is just a great guy. You’re always a little nervous meeting someone for the first time, especially when you have to spend half a day with them on a fishing boat. But Josh immediately put us at ease. He is very understanding and patient with newbies like us and was as good as a teacher as he was a guide. The boat and equipment were immaculate and he had plenty of ice and refreshments available for us. But come on, we were there to catch fish…and boy did we ever do that! For as tough as the conditions were (it was pretty cold and the waters were murky), Josh consistently had our fishing reels whizzing with a variety of species, 5 different ones in all. At days end, we had caught well over thirty fish and took home something special for dinner!! Oh, and we even got to watch as a family of dolphins played in our boat’s wake. Overall, a bonding day like no other…thank you Captain Jake for the wonderful outing!!! -Joe

I booked a half day trip with Captain Josh with my Wife & Mother. From my first contact with him I could tell it was going to be a good experiance, Josh was really accommodating with everything that we needed, and was happy to answer my questions. He even went out of his way to get us some fresh live bait prior to our trip. Although the weather has been cooler the last week we stayed on the fish all day. I lost track of how many fish we caught. We ended the afternoon at the little bar down the road where they cooked us up some of the fish we caught which was a perfect way to end the day. I would highly recommend him for any experiance level and cant wait to get back out with him again.
