Come on aboard with Capt. Josh, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle jigging, based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you'll be fishing for the likes of Snook, Snapper, Redfish, Tarpon, Permit, and Speckled Trout, depending on the specific season and the day's weather.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 22' Skeeter boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice box. All rods, reels and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary drinks, but you're welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

My girlfriend and I had a great time on a 4 hour backwater trip. Josh told us it was going to be windy and it may be tough but we had an epic tour through the backwater on our way to a few go to fishing holes. We got lucky and got on fish early and didnt have to bounce around much. Dude knows what hes doing and vibes were great through and through. BOOK IT!
Josh is an excellent fishing guide. We booked a fishing trip knowing it was not the ideal weather. Josh put us on fish every time. Once the bite stopped we zipped to other spots with fish. Josh knows the islands and has a great personality and good stories. Can’t go wrong with booking a trip with Josh at JP's Backwater Adventures!
I went on a 4 hr trip with Capt. Josh. He put me on fish right away and I caught 4 different species; jack, sea trout, snook and grouper. I had a large snook on the line, but lost it near the boat. My only regret is I should have booked a longer charter.
Josh was able to accommodate my last minute decision to fish. Suggested an early start to beat the wind and boats. 100% worked out. First cast landed fish. Great knowledge of key spots was clear. Boat was perfect and gear top notch. Really enjoyed his company and enthusiasm. The giant Snook hook up was a thrill….Brought home dinner - sheepshead. Super trip, great guide and really solid dude. Highly recommended.
My girls and I had a blast today fishing with Capt Josh He was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us the whole trip, He had us on a wide variety of fish in different areas in the Islands. Will definitely use him again!
