We booked a 3-hour trip with Mahi Mike and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. He’s so easygoing and great with kids—he knew exactly how to keep them engaged and excited, and we were catching fish almost right away. He struck that perfect balance of being super knowledgeable while still keeping things relaxed and fun. The 3 hours flew by and felt like just the right amount of time for our crew. We’d absolutely go out with him again.

I’ve been on many fishing trips, and this one was 10000% the best! We caught about 30-40 fish, kept 9 and the whole 4 hours was action packed. I think we caught 15 different species of fish and the captain was knowledgeable and kept bringing us to different spots if the bites were not good enough. What I really appreciated over all, he was humane to the fish and didn’t let them flop around in a dry cooler to die. That always stressed my trip so to know this was an option is going to make me request it from now on. I would highly recommend him to anyone fishing in the waterways around Tampa.

This was my first time ever taking a fishing charter and my plan was to let me kids and husband fish while I read a book. But it looked like so much fun, I had to give it a try! Mike showed us all how to fish and took us to the best spots! We caught fish after fish after fish... we watched the dolphins follow us around and jump around us in the water. It was an amazing day. So much fun! Mahi Mike helped us bait the hooks, taught us how to throw the lines out, attract and reel in the fish, and even cleaned our catch at the end of the trip!! We ate an amazing fresh fish supper that night by the way! We will NOT take another trip to Florida without booking a charter with Mahi Mike every single time!! He is the BEST!!! I can't say enough great things about our trip with him!

We had a blast during our half day of fishing with Capt. Mahi Mike! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and helpful, always assisting with our bait and equipment needs, and finding us three amazing, diverse locations to fish. His knowledge and familiarity with the area made the trip incredibly informative. You truly felt like you were getting an insider experience for the day. We would definitely book this trip again!

My 11 year old and husband went out with Captain Mike for the 3 hour trip. It was my son’s first boat fishing trip so we went with the shorter trip to make sure it wasn’t too much for him and hoping he didn’t get bored. He came back saying he had the best day and all he can talk about is how he can’t wait for their next boat trip! Captain Mike new all the best spots and had them catching all kinds of species of fish non stop! We will definitely go out with him next time we are in town!

Mahi Mike is a fun and enthusiastic captain, who did a fantastic job putting us on fish, and keeping us on them. His local knowledge is also great, great time for the family!
