Jarrod was born and raised in Holmes Beach on Anna Maria Island and has been fishing these grounds his entire life. If you want to be shown around by a real local, if you want to see the real Florida, and if you want to catch some real fish, give him a call!
Capt. Jarrod will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 3 to 10-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snook, Snapper, Redfish, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, and King Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, jigging, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 24' Carolina Skiff boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day, cooler space, dry storage, and ice. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. Just bring some snacks and drinks. Alcohol is okay but make sure not to bring glass.

We had so much fun on the water, fish at every stop. With 2 adults and 3 crazy kids (6,8 and 12) we can be a ball of chaos. Jarrod handled the kids with ease and over delivered on all fronts. First impression, he is a laid back, friendly guy and we ended up finding him on the internet here after I couldn’t catch anything on the beach. He was ready with bait a half hour before our trip was supposed to start and he kept us out a little later so we could get a hold of a snook named Ariana because she was a freakin grande. We look forward to fishing with Jarrod again next time.

1-2 person half day trip on June 9, 2024 • 2 adultsI booked a fishing charter with Jarrod for my dtr and SIL as a surprise while visiting the area. They had a blast. Not only did they catch a ton of fish, they saw a manatee, stingrays, and dolphins. They also appreciated learning about the areas in which they were fishing as they aren’t locals. They rated their experience 5/5 and look forward to booking again.

We had a wonderful time with Captain Jarrod! He was prompt with communications, patient and helpful with our family (kids ages 10 and 20) and took us to a variety of locations to ensure we caught some fish. Fun trip and we would happily book another trip with Captain Jarrod!

Captain Jarrod is the coolest guy and he put us on some great fish. He was great company and super accommodating. I am definitely going to be calling him up when I come back down to Florida.
