Spend the day with Triple Threat Outfitters and find out what the fishing in St. Petersburg is all about! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jake can tell you all about them.
These waters are home to Redfish, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, Tarpon, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, Bull Shark, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Sheepshead, and more with any luck.
On the day of your trip you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Jake also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also remember to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
Your excursion begins aboard a 23' Bay boat with capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Triple Threat Outfitters.

Jake was a phenomenal guide. He was young, ambitious and knowledgable. We took a 4 hour am shark trip and he took us to an area that wouldn’t be a normal shark spot but his local knowledge told us that was the place to be. My 15 year old landed a massive nurse shark after an epic battle and my 13 year old caught a beautiful 4’ blacktip, all while catching Spanish mackerel, speckled trout, whiting and even a toad fish! We will be back and I would recommend to anyone, adult or families with kids.

Thank you Joel!
Capt Jake was the best! He was so knowledgeable. He was well prepared and had everything we needed. He knew where to find the fish we wanted to catch, and how to get em to bite. If you're looking for a remarkably wonderful day fishing, Capt Jake is your guide!
Picked us up close to our hotel took us out and was on fish with in 10 minutes, caught a lot of fish and had some big fish come off at the boat. Conditions was tough with the wind but this man handled it like a professional should and was great to be on the water with. Don’t look no further than this guy for local fishing experience. 5 star captain in our book.

Been on a lot of charters in my life, by far the best one I have ever done. Highly recommend these boys!!!!
