When you book a charter with OB's Guide Service, you can be sure that you'll have a terrific fishing trip. With over 30 years of fishing expertise, Captain Chris is completely insured and licensed. Everything is up to date and double-checked to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for you and your entire family.
You'll be fishing on a 21' Frontier that accommodates up to 8 guests. This center console is powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine and features all necessary navigational and safety gear. No matter what fishing spots you visit, your trip will be safe and productive.
White/Sand Bass, Hybrid Striper, Crappie, and Largemouth Bass will be your target species. You'll mainly use light tackle, jigging, and drift fishing to land them. The trips are family-friendly, so you can bring your kids along as well. After the trip, you get to keep the catch.
You don't have to be concerned about being unprepared. OB's will supply you with everything you need to get your fishing trip off to a great start. A Texas freshwater fishing license is required for everyone aged 17 and above. OB's can offer you with complimentary rods, bait, tackle, and even fillet your fish. You need to pack your food and drinks and you're ready to go.

I promised my boys a fishing trip, but I had little faith in catching fish in August with scorching temperatures. Chris knew all the hot spots on the lake to ensure our fishing trip was a success. He was very courteous, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable on ways to catch the fish we were looking for (bass, crappie and catfish. We caught over 20 fish in 100 degree weather, half of which we kept My boys are already bugging me to go on another fishing trip.

Would highly recommend booking with him if anyone is looking for a fishing trip! Having booked multiple trips with with him, he has always been able to get us on the fish. We caught 60+ keepers last time we went out on the water and probably over 100 fish in total that day! He’s also very knowledgeable about fishing in general and always willing to help and teach pointers and help educate the kids we had with us. He’s very personable and easy to get along with as well! Captain Chris did an amazing job of keeping everyone entertained and educated. He is knowledgeable of the area and the fishing. He managed to keep the kids engaged for the entire charter and never missed a beat when assisting the adult participants. This fishing experience is perfect for families. Half Day Weekend Trip (AM) on March 20, 2022I have chartered multiple trips with Chris and he never fails to put us on top of the fish. Every trip has been so much fun and ends with a nice amount of fish to take home and fry up! Would highly recommend Chris and OB's Guide Services. He makes the trip entertaining and consider him a friend that I met on my first Charter back in June of last year. If you want a fun filled day that's filled with laughs, memories, and tons of fish then don't hesitate to contact OB's today. You will not regret it.

Captain Chris has been fishing his whole life. He started at the marshes of south Louisiana as a kid, went to the lakes of East Texas as a teenager, and explored the Toledo Bend area. Now he resides at Lake Lewisville and he's focusing on teaching other people how to fish.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
