Running fly fishing trips out of San Francisco, Garrison Fishing Guides invites you to check out the local fishery in style.
Max will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in fly fishing, all to get you on that bite. This involves 2 to 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Bass, Halibut, Striped bass, surf perch, and Sunfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
All rods, reels, and flies are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please keep in mind that you'll need a fishing license before the start of the trip.
Bait isn't included in fly fishing. We use flies! Garrison Fishing Guides offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.

Max is an excellent teacher. Had a great time. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Max is a great teacher. It was the first time fly fishing for both my 17-year old son and me. We caught a few very small ones, but his great instruction and time to practice was worth every penny.
Great lesson from Capt. Max. I do feel that I now have the basic knowledge required to start fly fishing as a hobby.
