Had a great time on our fishing charter to Upper Saranac. Captain Ryan had all the gear we needed and was very knowledgeable of the lake. Caught an assortment of bass and pike. Weather was cold and windy but everyone enjoyed themselves! Highly recommend. Ask for Captain Ryan!!

Thanks Jay, had a great time out with you guys!

Ryan was really good with the kids and clearly enjoys taking people out fishing. We caught small mouth bass and pike all day long! We also stopped at a couple small islands and the kids were able to jump off rocks into the water. If you are looking for a fun day out on a beautiful lake or river, don’t hesitate to book it.

Got out to a hidden stream to fish for brook trout. lucky enough to get 2 keepers for a dinner! This wasn't my first fly fishing trip, but I am still new to this style. Ryan's direction and tips were super helpful and I have a better idea now of how to choose what flies for specific situations. Also learned new way of casting when in tight wooded streams. I really enjoyed not only the fishing and one on one experience but I also learned a lot about the general adirondack info, saw/heard some wildlife, lots of birds! Learning about the natural history of the area was a definite bonus to a great day of fishing. Ryan is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, a great guide all around and I look forward to bringing family on the next trip I book! He provides all the equipment so that was a huge help, and Ryan had extra bug spray! beware the blackflies!

Thank you for the Great Review, hope to see you agin soon!
Ryan was an excellent guide on the upper sarranac lake. Not only did we catch fish but we also gained lots of knowledge of the history and environment of the lake. Highly recommended!

Thanks for getting out with me Tim, looking forward to our next adventure!
We had a great time finishing Ryan on the lower Saranac today. Good weather, fish were kind of biting (we may have had challenges keeping them on the line), but we fished a bunch of different areas and had bites if not fish in all of them.
