Deutsch: Es fühlte sich eher wie eine teure Bootsfahrt als eine Angeltour an – mit Angeln im eigentlichen Sinne hatte das wenig zu tun. Das Equipment war zudem nicht auf dem Stand, den man bei einer geführten Tour erwarten würde – es erinnerte eher an das Niveau einer einfachen Thailand-Bootstour. Das hat uns die Freude am Angeln leider zusätzlich genommen. Dass an diesem Tag kaum Fische gebissen haben, ist natürlich Pech und gehört zum Angeln dazu. Am Ende hatten wir einen Fisch gefangen, doch als wir fragten, ob wir ihn mitnehmen dürften, sagte der Guide nur: “Nein, der gehört mir.” Nur wenn man mehrere Fische fängt, dürfe man laut seiner Aussage überhaupt welche behalten. Das war für uns eine überraschende und enttäuschende Regelung – von anderen Touren kennen wir das so nicht. Wir hatten im Vorfeld sogar explizit nachgefragt, ob auch Spinnfischen oder aktives Angeln mit Ködern möglich sei. Uns wurde dies zugesichert – umgesetzt wurde es jedoch leider nicht. Fazit: Wir haben fünf Stunden lang Ruten beobachtet, ohne selbst wirklich angeln zu können, durften den einen gefangenen Fisch nicht mitnehmen – und das alles für einen stolzen Preis. Sehr schade. Diese Tour können wir in Alicante leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Englisch: I took some time to think about how to write this review, so let’s start with the positives: our fishing guide was punctual and very friendly. Unfortunately, there were several aspects of the tour that really disappointed us. Most of the time was spent trolling for fish—over four hours of it—which turned out to be quite monotonous. It felt more like an overpriced boat ride than an actual fishing trip. The equipment used for trolling was far below expectations, more like what you’d find on a basic tourist boat in Thailand. It took away much of the enjoyment of the experience. Granted, fishing always comes with the risk of not catching much, and that day the fish simply weren’t biting. In the end, we managed to catch one fish. When we asked if we could take it with us, the guide told us, “No, that’s mine.” He explained that customers are only allowed to keep fish if several are caught, which was a surprising and disappointing rule. That’s not something we’ve experienced on similar tours before. We had specifically asked in advance whether active fishing with lures or spinning rods would be possible. We were told yes—but none of that was offered during the trip. In summary: we spent five hours watching rods that barely moved, caught one fish we weren’t even allowed to keep, and paid a premium price for it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this fishing tour in Alicante.
