Capt. Pete welcomes you aboard a 2023 24' Kingfisher 2425HT with a 250 HP outboard engine and GPS, fishfinders, radio, as well as radar navigation technology, all allowing for efficient and safe movement on the water. The boat comes with a wireless trolling motor, an ice-box, as well as a multimedia system for effective fishing, and a porta-potty for your convenience.
Launching out of Port Franks (near Grand Bend), you'll primarily be targeting Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, and Walleye (Pickerel), as you try trolling on light tackle. You'll be keeping all the fish you catch. Kids are welcome to join aboard, so don't hesitate in bringing them on your trip.
Capt. Pete will take care of all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, and lures you'll need, so all you need to do is bring snacks, drinks, and your fishing licenses. When the trip is over, the captain can even clean and fillet your catch for free and send you home with a complimentary cooler bag, so you can head home ready to cook up a delicious meal.

We had a great experience fishing with Captain Pete. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard throughout the trip to put us on fish. We hooked six and were able to boat two. Captain Pete kept changing tactics and trying different approaches as conditions changed. Unfortunately, the weather became a factor and we had to come in early, but that was certainly beyond his control. Even with the challenging conditions, Captain Pete gave it his best effort and made the trip enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and hardworking captain. 5 stars!

Captain Pete was extremely nice and got us some good fish. Coming later in the year we knew there wasn't a good chance of getting into salmon, but even managed to get a Coho. As long as you follow the map to find the pickup area you can't miss it. I 100% recommend Port Franks Charters and hope to be able to do it again!

Our goal was to get my son to catch some Salmon -early July was a little late in the salmon season and water too warm so mostly hooked walleye but hooked into a few salmon too and my son caught a couple! Captain Pete was great! Really friendly and knowledgeable - Highly recommend!

Capt. Pete grew up in Port Franks and lives in the community full time. He learned his love of fishing from his father and has over 40 years of experience fishing the southern basin of Lake Huron. As an avid waterman, a fully licensed and insured marine captain, you can be assured of a safe, fun, and productive fishing charter with Capt. Pete as your guide. The captain's favorite species to target would be Chinook Salmon. It's not native to Lake Huron and its numbers are low, but the pure power these fish demonstrate is amazing.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
