Freed'em Fishing runs 4-hour and 7-hour offshore charters targeting species such as Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi in the deep Atlantic waters surrounding Madeira.

Just a few miles after leaving the marina, the ocean drops to depths of over 1,000 meters, creating excellent conditions for big game fishing. Madeira is widely known as one of the top Blue Marlin destinations in the Atlantic, with peak marlin season typically running from June through September.

You will fish aboard the Freed'em, a restored 30ft Henriques sportfishing boat built for offshore conditions. The vessel is equipped with heavy tackle, a fighting chair, live bait tank, modern electronics, and a marine toilet on board. Up to 8 guests can join the charter.

Freed'em Fishing focuses primarily on big game trolling, but the crew also fishes with light tackle, jigging, and bottom fishing for species such as Amberjack, Snapper, and other reef fish.

Whether it's your first time offshore or you've been fishing for years, the crew will set up the gear, explain the techniques, and guide you through the action when a fish hits so you're part of the experience, not just watching from the sidelines.

All fishing equipment, bait, licences, snacks, and drinks are included. After the trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch on board, ready to take home or straight to your hotel kitchen.
