Funchal has a fish with your name on it, so let Dream ON help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Nuno can tell you all about the local fishery.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Swordfish, shark and plenty more. You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.

The fish caught are yours to take with you, provided they're legal to keep.

Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to keep their stamina going!

Your boat for the day is a 40' Luhrs convertible that holds up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
