You’ll be fishing from a 25’ Rogue boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet for your comfort and an ice box to keep your catch fresh. You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip, and Brock will even clean and fillet it after the day is done.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license and angling tag before the start of the trip, and any snacks (no bananas!) or drinks you want. Alternatively, Capt. Brock can arrange lunch at an extra cost.
Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome aboard, so you’re free to make it a family adventure.
Please beware that the weather on the coast is very unpredictable, so wear layers. Wear warm clothes and also bring some sort of rain gear – sometimes the runs to and from the fishing grounds can get a little wet.

We vacation in this area almost every summer and always wanted to fish for Salmon. Found Brock Johnson online was able to check something off of my bucket list! Had a great time with my son and son in-law! Brock is experienced, knows the water well and made you feel comfortable! His boat and equipment are great! We limited out on Salmon! We will be back next time we come to vacation and hope Brock will have time to take us out again! We highly recommend Brock as your Captain!! Thanks Brock!!

My dad lives in Florida and has never been to Oregon. He came to visit me and wanted to knock catching a salmon off his bucket list. Thanks to Brock’s expertise we were able to catch a few Chinook and had a blast doing it. Highly recommend Brock Johnson for your Salmon fishing needs. He even recommended a great place to eat before we took the drive back to Hillsboro after our day out. Great day and excellent memories with my father.

We were fortunate to have Brock as ourselves on our fishing trip. Being born and raised in Warrenton only made for a informative and fun trip. His equipment was top notch and he knew the river very well. We caught and released 6-8 salmon due to size or were wild salmon. We caught and kept 2 salmon. One coho and a 28# chinook. Highly recommend Brock Johnson.

Born and raised in Astoria, OR, I have been chasing Salmon, Sturgeon, and Steelhead on the lower Columbia River since I can remember. Having that local knowledge has proven to catch fish while others are struggling. Guiding has been a dream of mine since high school when I was a bait boy on a charter boat the summer of my senior year. Since then, I told myself one day I'll have my own sled and continue to help people hook into that once-in-a-lifetime "King” Salmon or the elusive 10' Sturgeon.
