Get Out Northwest is located in Warren and offers to show you a memorable time in the area’s rivers. Depending on the species you would like to hunt, your trip can take place from the Portland area to Astoria.

Capt. Shawn will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Sturgeon and Salmon, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, and trolling.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 23’ Alumaweld boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.

Captain Shawn Grisham operates his 2003 Alumaweld Super Vee. His dad taught him to fish at a young age and the captain has been hooked on fishing ever since. Through his years of fishing, he has never stopped learning new techniques, adapting to new gear, finding hot fishing spots, and more. Captain Shawn's lifelong love for the outdoors is where his dream of becoming a fishing guide began. The look on a little kid's face or a first-timer getting their first Salmon or Sturgeon is priceless – that’s his passion and motivation, to give each person the opportunity to fall in love with fishing. The captain leads guided fishing excursions on the Willamette River, Columbia River, Tillamook Bay, and ocean excursions out of Tillamook Bay dependent on weather and fishing conditions. The current options for guided fishing trips include Salmon, Sturgeon, and Steelhead (when open) trips. Ocean Salmon trips can include the additional feature of dropping buckets for Crab (Salmon and Crab Combo Deal).
