SurReel Charters runs angling trips out of Honolulu and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Come on aboard with Captain Jeff, Skip, or David – each of whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, big game fishing, drift fishing, handlining, jigging, kite fishing, popping, spinning, and even spearfishing based on the species you're targeting. Speaking of which, you'll be fishing for the likes of Wahoo, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Snappers depending on the season and weather.
You'll be fishing from a 47' Freeman Boatworks offshore sportfishing vessel with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. Built in 2022, she has a max speed of over 60 knots, meaning you can get anywhere the fish are first. It also includes a toilet, ice box, and fighting chair.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price, and you can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so. There's also always a first mate on board, who's there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.
Want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride? Kids are welcome aboard, so you're free to make it a family adventure. Just let the captain know if you want to go snorkeling, and you try a bit of everything!

Our charter with Capt Jeff was one for the memory books! He had us on fish from the start and the vibe on the boat was perfect for our crew. Will definitely be coming back and booking on The Office!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip aboard “The Office”. Captain Jeff and Asher were awesome and made the fishing easy. We hit fish right when we got to the spot deep offshore. The boat is big, beautiful, fast and well equipped with very comfortable seating arrangements. I highly recommend this trip for people looking for a real deep sea excursion!!
We had sensational day. Got loads of fish. Exhausted from fighting them. Captain and deckhand did fantastic jobs.

Excellent Captain and crew. We were able to find Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and Tuna in tricky conditions. Definitely the right boat for deep sea fishing.
