Captain Chuck Jones offers a hands-on, highly interactive fishing experience designed for anglers who want more than just a boat ride. Whether you're a seasoned fisherman or brand new to the sport, these trips focus heavily on teaching techniques, reading water, understanding fish behavior, lure presentation, and improving your overall fishing skills.
This is NOT a trolling-focused charter. Most trips involve active casting with artificial lures using light tackle techniques that make every fish feel like a giant.
Depending on the season and conditions, you may target:
* Striped Bass (Rockfish)
* Red Drum
* Cobia
* Spanish Mackerel
* Bluefish
* Speckled Trout
* White Perch
Techniques commonly used include:
* Topwater fishing
* Light tackle jigging

One of our specialties is weekday evening trips during the prime summer bite. These trips often feature cooler temperatures, less boat traffic, beautiful sunsets, and some of the most aggressive shallow-water feeding activity of the day.
You'll fish aboard our 26' Chesapeake center console, a wide-open fishing platform built specifically for Chesapeake Bay waters. Its ultra-shallow draft allows access to areas many larger boats simply can't reach comfortably. The boat accommodates up to 6 anglers.
All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses are included in your trip price.
Kids and families are always welcome aboard, and we love introducing new anglers to the sport.

We booked an afternoon/evening fishing charter with Salty Siren as a birthday present for my husband. As someone who has only gone fishing once on a larger charter with live bait, this was really something totally different and special for me. Captain Chuck was patient, easygoing, knowledgeable and super friendly! While we only caught 1 fish because of the weather, we all had a great time and would absolutely do it again!
You, Rock! I can't wait to have you guys back on board.
We had an amazing time. Captain Chuck worked hard all day trying to get us on fish and made sure we caught something. We brought my five year old son with us and Chuck did a great job mentoring him and answering all of his questions. Captain Chuck is just an all around great guy and I highly recommend him.
The trip was awesome and lots of fun, went to lots of different spots and got to see lots of different places along the bay and river. Very educational and the captain was great and super helpful.

Captain Chuck and 2nd Mate Sean were great. They knew where to find the fish and kept us on them. I went out with my 3 boys and all of us caught multiple trophy size Rockfish. Thank you!

Captain Chuck put us right on the fish from the start. Limited out in the first few hours. The boat was great to fish from and comfortable. A day my boys and I will remember for a long time!
