Typically, the crew's guided Steelhead trips begin in mid to late October, depending upon water flows and temperature, and last until the fish has retreated back to the lake – in mid to late April.

The fall season (October-December) is arguably the most scenic time to be on the Steelhead rivers. The cool, crisp mornings and changing leaves mean one thing – fresh chrome Steelhead! Pennsylvania is known for its massive fall run, which rivals some of the best runs in the entire world.

As the area moves into late December through early March, Steelhead can be found throughout the rivers and streams in its typical winter holding areas. This is the crew's favorite time to be on the water. It might be cold, but there is just something magical about landing beautiful Steelhead against a snow-covered landscape.

Early March and ice out signals the spring run. Ohio is famous for its incredible spring run fishery. Action can be fast and furious during the spring and you can expect to see a mix of fresh fish as well as fish that has been in the system all winter.

Captain Bob provides lunch and all the high-end equipment for you. All you will need is clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and chest waders.
