You'll be fishing aboard a 28' Koffler aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Captain Keith has been doing this for decades. He knows all the other boats and communicates with them regularly throughout the trip to find the best fishing spots that day. Even though the weather was rough we were able to limit on Kings and landed our share of big halibut. Can’t recommend this charter enough!
Keith was great, when others stayed in closer, he took us out quite a ways and put us on some bigger Halibut right away. We caught our limit of any size and then went in a little ways for the ones 27" or less. We caught our limit of those pretty quick as well. While others were still out searching for their first fish we had our daily limit for all 4 of us. Weather was perfect and we couldn't ask for a better a day or experience. Thank You Keith!

thank you now enjoy the fish. hope to see u again

Captain Keith was great and he definitely knows what he's doing. He's very knowledgeable and even though he shared it was an unfavorable season for fishing, he still put us on some great spots and we walked away with 9 halibut and 4 cod. The boat was clean and the trip out was gorgeous. We appreciated how straightforward he was and everything he did to ensure we got a great catch.

Enjoy the fish an i hope to see you all again

We booked the same boat 2 days in a row 1st day full day halibut 2nd day was supposed to be salmon and halibut. On the 2nd day the majority of the day was spent on halibut and we were only given an hour and a half of trolling for salmon which is why we booked that day extra. The cost of Friday's boat was more than Thursday's boat because we were doing the salmon fishing which we really did not get to do. Capt. Keith is definitely a very nice guy he worked his butt off to get our halibut for us we were just disappointed in not really getting our salmon fishing.

some days you just run out of time. if the weather was better in the am that would hsve been the case and some onr lost one. hope we do better next time. i think as far as I know we were one of the only boats to land a king that day. best regards Captain Keith
