Depending on the species you target, you’ll use a range of different techniques, such as bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, or spinning. On a typical trip, you’ll be fishing for the likes of Striped Bass, Tuna, Bluefish, Seabass, Shark, or Scup. Of course, this depends on when you visit and the sea conditions.

On your day out, you’ll be fishing from a 23’ vessel with enough room for up to 4 anglers to fish comfortably. The boat also includes a livewell to keep the bait fresh and an ice box to store your hard-earned catch. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.

Besides the equipment, your captain will also sort out the fishing licenses for the day. While fishing, you can keep everything you end up catching, as long as it’s legal to do so. Once back on land, the captain will clean your catch, although there’s an extra charge for cleaning Striped Bass and Bluefish.

Finally, feel free to bring your kids along for the ride, as long as they’re able to handle being on the boat for the duration of the trip. Capt. Dale runs a family-friendly charter, so you can count on your whole family to feel welcome.
