Austin Native Fishing Guide runs angling trips out of Austin and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Blake aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! You’ll be light tackle fishing between 4 and 8 hours, while targeting Largemouth and Spotted Bass, depending on the weather and time of year.
You’ll be fishing from a 21’ Nitro boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers and it comes with an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water.
Don’t forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!
Bait isn’t included in the trip price, so make sure to check with the captain what your options are before the trip.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Today’s fishing trip was a gift for my husband for Father’s Day. Blake Guilbeau is a fabulous guide. We were lucky with gorgeous weather and the bass were biting so a good time was had by all :) so worth it!

I went out on a half day trip on what happened to be a beautiful sunny day, so a lot of the local lakes were packed with boaters and picnickers. Fortunately, the guide rolled with the punches and decided to redirect to a better lake. We had a great day fishing and started hooking into good sized bass right away. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to giving anglers the best possible guide experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough; this young guide should absolutely be your top choice for bass fishing around Austin.

We really enjoyed our afternoon of fishing on Lake Walter with Captain Blake! He was knowledgeable, had all the fishing supplies needed, and a great guide who taught us so much about bass fishing! We caught a total of 25 bass on a 4 hour trip with some as large as over 17 inches! Highly recommended for anyone, even those with no finishing experience!
