We had to cancel our original trip, due to high winds, and the next day when we went it wasn't a whole lot better, but Captain Joe thought we could get it done. With 4 ft swells and and 20 mph winds, we headed to the edge of the reef. First Mate Derek worked tirelessly, and often struggled to keep his balance, but they put us on fish - many nice yellowtail, a good cero mackerel, and a huge mutton snapper - and then, a beautiful sailfish hooked up. What a fight - what an experience - a fish of a lifetime!

An awesome fishing trip!

This was our first fishing trip and Captain Joe Snyder and first mate Jessica were an amazing team. They made us feel very comfortable explaining how we were going to fish, handle the fishing gear and emphasizing safety first when moving around the boat. We caught a dozen Mahi Mahi, with 6 being keepers. My wife caught the largest at 8 pounds. We also caught three nice size tuna. Jessica cleaned all the fish separating the fish in various ziplock. We ate sushi tuna on the dock. They gave us recommendations on where to take your fresh catch. We choose Lazy Days restaurant. The chef prepared a fantastic meal of pan fried panko encrusted Mahi Mahi with their signature butter parmesean sauce and sesame seed encrusted seared Tuna with a tasty wasabi sauce. An all around an excellent trip and meal recommendation. We give our highest recommendation to book with the Coral Sea Fishing Charter with Captain Joe Snyder and first mate Jessica!

Outstanding experience

I brought my son, my brother and my brother's son-in-law here. It was a big deal before my son goes into the navy. What a great experience. Captain Joe and the mate worked ceaselessly to give us the best fishing experience we've ever had. Caught a sailfish, big fish, other fish, more fish. Their work and expertise produced a terrific time.

Fantastic fishing charter!

We have been on a lot of chartered fishing trips, and Captain Joe and Derek are the best. We caught a ton of fish. They were fantastic with our 12 year old son. And the boat was the perfect size and well maintained. I think Captain Joe talks to fish because he knew the best places to go.

Capt. Joe and First Mate Jess were awesome the first day we fished out of Islamorada that we were very glad to have booked them again for our 2nd day trip. Would highly recommend for groups of experienced and inexperienced anglers. They put us on different fishing grounds this 2nd day, showing great knowledge of the area and ability to fish multiple species and styles.
