Taz's Excursions is located in Fort Walton Beach and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. Come experience some of the world's finest nearshore and offshore fishing with a friendly crew out of beautiful Destin, Florida.
This crew will do its best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing, which can involve 4 to 12-hour trips. We will be fishing for Red Snapper, Cobia, Triggerfish, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, and plenty of other delicious species that live just offshore. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, jigging, spearfishing, and spinning.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 30' Prokat Catamaran that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a toilet and an ice-box.
The crew will provide all the latest and best fishing rods, reels, tackle, and techniques around, so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will also include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day.

6-hour trip with Taz's Excursions was great!

It was a hot, beautiful day, but the wind caused 6' waves at times. None of the smaller boats went out that morning, but Captain Johnny's boat handled the waves easily. My wife and I were open to fishing for whatever Johnny recommended with the big waves. We trolled and drifted, netting several tuna, a king mackerel, a spanish mackerel and even a small sailfish! My camera focus was messed up, so no good pictures of the sailfish.
We had some great conversations throughout the trip, and both Captain Johnny and his 1st mate Rob took the time to explain what they were doing, and let me help.
Captain Johnny and Rob were true professionals, and I will book with them the next time I come back to Florida.

Our 1st Time ...... but definitely not our Last!

Captain Johnny and Rob were fabulous and so patient with our family's 1st Deep Sea Fishing experience. We haven't all 4 been on vacation together in quite a few years and were looking for some different things to do now that the "kids" are "adults". Thumbs up on this pick!!! Although the big one got away, we had a blast, everybody caught some different fish, saw quite a few dolphins, and enjoyed our time on the water. No doubt about it, we'd definitely recommend booking with Taz! They know lots of great spots and keep ya baited and ready to roll.

Had a great experience with Taz’s Excursions. Captains and first mate were extremely personable and treated us like we’ve known them for years. I imagine some probably get you off and on their boats like herding cattle but these guys were great. We were the first afternoon trip so far this season for them and we caught a variety of fish and again had a great time. Can’t say enough good things about Taz’s Excursions. 10/10 would recommend and I will definitely be back! Thanks guys!!!

Taz is probably the nicest person I have ever met. The trip was amazing super affordable, and made sure he did everything possible for us to catch fish which we did. I wont be booking with anyone else ever again. His crew mate was amazing as well. Told them we didnt know how to fillet a fish and he offered to help us out. This excursion absolutely made my trip to Destin worth it!!

Captain Johnny put us on a lot of fish and was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. We had a great time and caught a variety of fish. We would have caught more but some dolphin chased and ate our catch. Great time tho.
