You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area, and you're welcome to keep some of the fish you catch, assuming they're legal to harvest. Catch cleaning and fileting is available at extra cost.
Your trip begins aboard a 21' Bass boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Highly recommend this guide! The guide did a fantastic job with me and my 11 yr old son. All of the bass were great size - really exceeded my expectations. Lost two really big ones but landed all the other ones we hooked up on. The guide went out of his way to make sure we had a fantastic time, great equipment and boat and super knowledgeable about the fish and lake and very personable.
It was crazy windy, sustained 15-20 mph with gusts up to 40. The temp and the water was hot. He still managed to get us on several nice fish!
Hopefully the ret of the week has been calmer and easier to enjoy the fishery. Thanks for booking with TheHautdoors.
