Sea Mee Charters runs angling trips out of Norfolk and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Capt. Shawn aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, sight casting and jigging. You’re looking at 3 to 10-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Cobia, Spadefish, Flounder, Sea Bass, Mahi Mahi, and Tautog, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your adventure begins on board a 29’ Downeaster boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. It’s up to you is to use it as best you can.

No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
