Captain Ryan is the real deal if you're looking to learn how to catch big trout and learn how to fish the flats. I've been trying artificials for several years here and never had all that much luck, but after a couple hours with him, I was finally landing the hook set on bigger and bigger trout. The only reasons I didn't land a 25 inch plus fish today was me and my gear letting me down, as I had plenty of opportunities. Thankfully, an overslot redfish decided to take pity on me and gave me the easy hookup and fight I was looking for! I would not hesitate to recommend Captain Ryan in the future and I plan on fishing with him again the next time I'm in Corpus Christi or Port Aransas!

We are on a vacation in Port Aransas and decided on Sunday that we wanted to do a fishing trip and was able to book a five hour trip for that coming Tuesday. It started at 6 AM and we were done by 12 PM. The Captain was very nice and really helpful. His boat was really nice. We ended up catching five or six speckled trout. At the end of the trip, he cleaned the fish for us. My family and I had a really good time.

Booking a fishing trip comes with a lot of intangibles, Captain Ryan made it all easy from the initial contact. Bringing a four year old kid on a 5 hour fishing trip can make anyone uneasy, however, Cap. Ryan made it accommodating the moment we walked onto the dock. Personally, I would recommend anyone to fish with him, catching fish was the easy part. Having Captain Ryan teach my son on all the wildlife, fishing techniques, beauty of the ocean, was something I would pay for multitude of times. We will be back with him again throughout the years.

Great experience from the communication, clean and fast boat, fishing expertise and the tackle. We almost limited out despite the rainy weather. Thanks Capt Ryan for a memorable trip with my family and friends!!!

Ryan is great, if you want to catch fish and have a good time 100% book with him. Very professional and great at showing you proper techniques. Super patient, cant say enough good about everything. We will be back.
