Being world-renowned for its healthy Walleye population, the lake allows you to fill the freeze with generous white fillets that are a great source for a family and friends gathering. The species is a native, naturally reproducing resident of the lake and can be best targeted in Pennsylvania waters from May to September. Captain Bob is well-versed in his abilities to locate and catch these toothy critters and recommends Walleye trips to all ages and skill levels. Along with this tasty species, you can also chase Rainbow and Lake Trout.

The boat you'll fish from is a 2023 26ft HewesCraft boat that can take up to 6 guests. It runs on a 250 HP Honda engine and comes with a portable toilet and downriggers.

Captain Robert provides rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as catch cleaning and filleting. Yours is just to bring fishing licenses and the food and drinks of your choice.

5 Hour Evening Walleye Trip on June 30, 2025 • 4 adults • 2 children

Six family members boarded Captain Rob’s charter the last day of June. All six left with not only a limit of walleye, but a lifelong memory!
First Mate Ryan was second to none. The Rod Squad is friendly, professional, and efficient. Excellent with children. Allowed anglers to be as much a part of the process as desired. Fished through a torrential downpour to get our limit in an unbelievable 2 1/2 hours! We were having so much fun, I wish fishing had been slower so the adventure lasted longer! Guess I’ll have to just book another trip!

My wife, my eight year old son, and myself went on this trip. Capt. Rob and First Mate, Ryan were great. They got us on the fish quickly and we had our limit in under 3 hours. My son said "it was the best day ever!" I would highly recommend Rod Squad for your next charter.

We had a varied group, to include an 11 yr old young lady, a 14 yr old boy, and a 74 year old guy. Captain and first mate were extremely accommodating and the five of us had our limits in roughly 2.5 hours after leaving the dock. Great trip!

Captain Rob, and his mate were first class.  The boat,  equipment,  tackle,  and fishing were all first class.  Captain Rob is super friendly and make your fishing experience to to remember.  Highly recommend his charter.
