From the moment we stepped aboard his well-equipped Carolina skiff, we knew we were in good hands. The boat is perfectly set up for serious fishing—stable, comfortable, with a wireless trolling motor, livewell, and all the gear needed for a full day on the water. Captain Nathan provided everything: quality rods, reels, tackle, and lures, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. What made this trip truly special was how Captain Nathan taught us the ins and outs of catching striped bass using advanced techniques. He showed us how to effectively troll with planer boards, spreading lines wide to cover more water and increase our chances without spooking the fish. He explained the setup, speeds, and adjustments step-by-step, making it easy to understand even who were newer to this method. We also used forward-facing sonar to locate schools of stripers with incredible precision—watching the fish react in real time was eye-opening and incredibly effective. Thanks to his knowledge and patient instruction, we had multiple hookups and landed some hard-fighting striped bass. The action was exciting, and Captain Nathan’s calm, encouraging style kept the day fun and educational for everyone on board. He clearly loves what he does and genuinely wants his clients to learn and succeed. We started out slow not even a nibble. During that time the captain was engaging and upbeat. He said we just need 1 to bite. Boy was he right. After that fight was the only words he had time to say was “Let me grab the net” 😂😂 we all caught multiple stripers each one around 30 inches. A time was had!

Capt. Nathan was a lot of fun to be with. He treated my wife and I like we were family. “Family members you like”. He was a wealth of information and hunted hard to find us our fish. Very personable and I would recommend him to anyone. JR
