Running angling trips trolling and jigging out of Elk Rapids, Prime Time Fishing Charters invites you to check out the Great Lakes in style.
Captains Jerry and Taylor are here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like trolling and igging, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 4-hour trips, you can target species like Salmon, Lake Trout, and Herring, depending on the season and weather conditions.
Your boat for the day will be a 26’ Seafox fishing vessel that fits All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.
You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip, and the crew will even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day. All you need to do is make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.

Great time fishing
Captain was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a slow start to actually catching fish. There were plenty of fish where he took us but they weren't biting. He then took us to another location and we started catching fish. We all had a great time. We will book again with him next time.

Taylor was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, fishing strategies, and a very good guide. He helped explain where the different kinds of fish are, how to target them etc. We caught 8 fish (6 lake trout and 2 salmon). Was amazing!!
