Chattahookem Fishing Charters 

We were not picky on what we wanted to catch. We let Josh chose the best possible set up for the very hot day. Hubs caught a good amount of small and large mouth bass and a few striped bass. I caught 2 large mouth bass. The trip was mainly for the hubs. Josh was very knowledgeable and patient. He is very professional and personable. He taught us several new things and got to know us and what we liked. We are looking forward to booking again. Highly recommend booking a trip with Josh.

If you get the opportunity to fish with Captain Josh and Chattahookem, take it - you’ll be glad you did! Took an 8-hour trip on 3/9 and had a blast. Caught solid numbers of Spotted and Smallmouth. Had a great time trying the different techniques used on Nickajack. The boat and equipment are top notch, too. Boat has a massive front and rear deck from which to fish and rod/reel set-ups are quality gear. Book with confidence, Chattahookem will put you on the fish! 👍🏼

Today was a day only true fishermen can love we met at the boat ramp at about 7:30 and the rain was not going to cooperate but none the less we got right to business the first spot we tried we didn’t have much success but he was determined to find the fish and he did we landed a quite a a few quality smallmouth throughout the day and the captain made sure we were not going to leave empty handed I had a great day and an amazing experience the captain is a great guy and you can tell he cares about his clients 10/10 would recommend to anyone , oh and If your thinking about booking go ahead and book you won’t regret it

Surrounded by beautiful scenery, great equipment and tight lines, we enjoyed a great morning of fishing.

My lad and I had a wicked time. Josh help me catch the first fish, almost an 18” Smallmouth. Josh, put us on Smallmouth, Large Mouth, and Spotted Bass all day. We traveled 80 miles total, and the boat was amazing. I am thinking of buying one myself. My lad told me he will never forget this trip. He will cherish the memories forever. Thanks again Josh, we will see you soon. Yes, we’re going back for more.

What an amazing day we had on the water. We fished for a full day and caught a ton of quality fish. Most importantly Josh was fantastic. Had we not caught any fish we would have still had a blast just hanging out on the water with him. He was super patient with my fishing partner who is still learning to cast Lol! I booked this trip for my husband for Father’s Day along with my son and son-in-law. They were so excited about the booking and Josh did not disappoint. All of them came home raving about the experience they had catching fish, learning from Josh, and boating on the river. Money well spent and worth every penny!
