Florida Bay, Everglades National Park, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic Ocean all come together in Islamorada to create a world-class fishery full of variety that is accessible by a bay boat. It is truly a special place that you have to get on the water to fully understand and appreciate.
With experience in and passion for backcountry and nearshore fishing, Captain Nolan specializes in light tackle sport fishing charters where you can a variety of species on any given day. Miss O Sport Fishing will tailor the charter to create the best possible experience on the water for you and your party.
Your trip will take place on a 24' Xplor Andros bay boat that can safely take up to 4 guests. It is powered by a 300 HP Mercury engine and equipped with modern navigation electronics, all contributing to a quick and safe reach to the fish. The boat also features an ice-box, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell.
The Florida Keys offer a great choice of fish to target. The species you can encounter on your trip are Tripletail, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Goliath Grouper, various Snapper types, Spanish Mackerel, and Ladyfish. To attract your prey, you can use jig pop, fly fish, and drift fish, all using light tackle.
You are free to keep the fish you catch and the crew can clean and fillet it for you after the trip. Kids are welcome to come aboard, so bring along the whole family for a lovely day on the water.
Captain Nolan provides fishing tackle, bait, and licenses. You will only need some snacks and drinks for the trip. Keep in mind that fly fishing gear is not included in the price and that you should bring your own if you want to use this technique.

My husband and I chartered with Miss O with Chase as our guide, his was very knowledgeable, shared with us sorts of information about the fish and the water we are on. We caught several great sized Mangrove Snapper perfect for our dinner that night along with Goliath Grouper. Over all it was an adventurous fun trip. I definitely highly recommend and would charter with Miss O (Chase) again!

Had a great day on the water with Chase. We caught probably 50 fish and brought home enough to grill up and eat! Excellent day!!
Storms impeded our day and did not allow us to fish the spots Chase wanted. We did try and got soaked. Caught a few trout, jacks, and ladyfish. Finally, said we need sunshine and we got a bonefish and then a bunch of snapper for dinner. Nothing anyone can do about the weather so it was a fun trip and fish for dinner. I would recommend Chase.

A group of 4 went fishing and what a great time we had going into the Everglades. Not only did we catch a lot of fish, we saw sharks, dolphins, and a variety of birds. Nolan was great and was on top of it with helping us get out of tangles and hooking our bait. Nolan made sure we all were taken care of during our trip.
