Capt. Dan aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like light tackle spinning. Light tackle makes this experience one of a kind, as you battle with the hardest fighting fish per pound in the area.
You’re looking at 3 to 6 hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Redfish, Flounder, Spotted Seatrout, and Snapper, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your adventure begins on board a 22’ Cape Bay boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box and wireless trolling motor. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. It’s up to you to use it as best you can. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary drinks, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests.

We really enjoyed our time with Captain Dan. July fishing is tough but he did a great job finding us some good places. From the radio it sounded like we were one of the only boats to have a successful day. We had a number of hits and were able to land a few keeper redfish. We had 4 people plus Capt Dan in the boat and that seemed the right size group for the boat. Overall this was one of the highlights of our trip.

My wife and I took our two nephews fishing on our recent vacation in Destin. We all caught fish and had an all around great time! Captain Dan was very patient as several of us were novice fishermen. The boys loved the authentic nature of Captain Dan (he was born to be a charter boat operator in Florida!), and were talking about the trip for days. Will definitely do this again when we make it back to Destin.

Capt Alex was very professional and friendly. He worked really hard to get us on fish, taking us to several spots targeting reds and snapper. We had some action at nearly every spot, and was able to get into some nice slot reds. Alex worked really hard to keep our lines baited and in the water, he is top notch! The fishing tempo is quick and you’ll really maximize your time fishing on the water. These guys met every expectation and I would/will go with them again!

Captain Alex made a considerable effort to assure an overall memorable experience and outcome for us. From a safety briefing to my overall comfort in what I would call "calm" seas. My 17 y/o son loved it. We caught a variety of fish and was not disappointed in the least.

Capt. Dan is a US Coast Guard Certified OUPV license holder who grew up on the water around Okaloosa county. He has been on a boat his entire life fishing all types of inshore waters.
