I have had my fair share of multiple fishing guides in the past from various locations around the gulf including Destin, but captain Alex has to be my #1 guide currently. Changing weather, weird tide cycle, and a midday trip are not ideal for hitting good fishing, but by George Capatain Alex got it done. We booked a 3 hour kid trip and that’s exactly what we got! We really enjoyed our time with Captain Dan.  July fishing is tough but he did a great job finding us some good places.  From the radio it sounded like we were one of the only boats to have a successful day.  We had a number of hits and were able to land a few keeper redfish.  We had 4 people plus Capt Dan in the boat and that seemed the right size group for the boat.  Overall this was one of the highlights of our trip.

My wife and I took our two nephews fishing on our recent vacation in Destin.  We all caught fish and had an all around great time!  Captain Dan was very patient as several of us were novice fishermen.  The boys loved the authentic nature of Captain Dan (he was born to be a charter boat operator in Florida!), and were talking about the trip for days. Will definitely do this again when we make it back to Destin.
