Diosa Del Mar – La Mexicana 

Make the most of your time in Mahahual and go fishing with Diosa Del Mar. With Captain Darrin at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Grunt, Black Grouper, Javelin Grunter, Blue Marlin, King Mackerel (Kingfish), White Marlin, Sailfish, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, and more are in the cards, depending on when you go. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You’ll step aboard the La Mexicana, a 25’ Imemsa w-25 sportfishing panga that holds up to 5 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Darrin will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
