Join Captain Kevin Ouzts for an unforgettable fishing adventure on the scenic rivers and lakes of Michigan. With over 25 years of experience fishing the St. Joseph and Kalamazoo Rivers, Captain Kevin combines expert knowledge, tournament-level skill, and a true passion for the sport to ensure a fun and productive day on the water.
Your trip will be aboard a 19’ Smokercraft aluminum fishing boat, powered by a 150 HP Evinrude jet engine, reaching speeds up to 35 knots. Outfitted with GPS, trolling motor, and fish finders, the boat comfortably accommodates up to 2 anglers, offering an efficient and personalized fishing experience.
Target hard-fighting species like Steelhead (Rainbow Trout), Coho Salmon, and Chinook (King) Salmon using light tackle and trolling methods. Captain Kevin will select the best location based on conditions and reports, with 2 meeting spots on the Kalamazoo River and 3 on the St. Joseph River.
Everything you need is included—rods, reels, tackle, and lures. Captain Kevin will also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Just bring your fishing license, along with snacks and drinks.
Kids ages 10+ welcome
Alcohol allowed (responsibly)
No onboard toilet, but a urinal is available and shore restrooms are nearby

Best Charter Ever! Sweet T Sportfishing is a winner
Capt. Kevin was phenomenal. Although my son and I were not experienced anglers, he was very patient and guided us perfectly. He made fishing fun and easy, while totally exceeding our expectations. Famtastoc day fishing on Kalamazoo River with Sweet T
Started fishing before dawn, caught beautiful Coho at first light, caught King Salmon near end of trip. Captain very adept, experienced, and a good conversationalist as well as a great guide.
