Book your next trip with Motorcity Fishing Madness and find out what fishing in Monroe is all about. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jason is prepared to put you on fish.
The fish in these waters include Walleye, Yellow Perch, White Bass, Steelhead, Salmon, Smallmouth Bass, Catfish, and more, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You’ll be casting lines from an 18’ Hewescraft aluminum fishing that holds up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Jason will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included if needed.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Kids are welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Bringing snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses is never a bad idea. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Go ahead and treat yourself to a day on the water with Motorcity Fishing Madness.
