Pacific Offshore Charters is owned and operated by Captain Andy Karlovic. Its mission is to provide a safe, educational, and fun fishing experience in the great Pacific Ocean around Garibaldi, Oregon. It doesn't matter whether it's your first offshore experience or you're a seasoned veteran, Captain Andy and his crew will show you a good time regardless of your fishing knowledge or skill level. Meet them in Rockaway Beach and embark on your next fishing adventure.

Captain Andy and his boat, the ALJO, are ambassadors for Furuno, Uflex, Nomad Design Tackle, AllSalt Maritime, Burnewiin, and Smak Plastics. This 35 x 12' JAMA Offshore Rage was built in 2022 and has state-of-the-art electronics with technology that hasn't hit the market yet. High gunnels ensure safety while fishing 360 degrees around the boat. This allows for over 70' of deck space to fish, which is more than enough room for a group of 6 people.

Safety is the crew's number one priority. The ALJO's safety features include: an 8-man life raft, offshore life jackets equipped with lights and whistles, Mustang Hydrostatic auto-inflate life jackets, a handheld VHF radio, and more.

On your trip, you can target Rockfish, Halibut, Albacore Tuna, and Lingcod. The choice of techniques you can use is wide, including light and heavy tackle, bottom fishing, deep sea fishing, trolling, and jigging.

Captain Andy provides top-class fishing rods, reels, and tackle, as well as lures. Remember to bring your fishing licenses before coming aboard and also pack some snacks and drinks. Catch cleaning is also available, feel free to ask the captain for details.

Hit the water with Pacific Offshore Charters and have a wonderful time in Oregon!

Fishing with Andy
(Shared) Halibut/ Lingcod/Crabbing on October 10, 20255 adults

We had a great day on the water. The crew was organized, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone on board got into fish. The captain knew exactly where to go — we were on the bite within minutes and stayed steady most of the trip. They kept the boat clean and ran things safely and efficiently without making it feel rushed or scripted. I’ve been on a few charters before, and this one stood out for how dialed-in the operation was — good communication, solid gear, and plenty of action. We came back with limits of rockfish and a few nice lingcod. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, well-run bottom fishing trip off the Oregon coast, this is the one I’d recommend. Great people, good fishing, and zero fluff — just a really solid day on the ocean.

Great family experience.
Rockfish / Lingcod / Crabbing on July 7, 20263 adults3 children

We took our 3 kids fishing (12,12, &5). The captain was very knowledgable and helpful! Great experience- so many crab! Seasickness is very real, the license fees add up ($30+each), and you have to pay to get your fish cleaned. Just a couple things to make note of.

As good as it gets!
(Shared) Rockfish / Lingcod / Crab on June 10, 20262 adults

Bad weather forced a near shore charter and it could not have turned out better. Limited on ling cod and rock fish and 1 limit of crab. Andy is as true, and as nice as they come. Will return and recommend. Thank you for making the boy’s birthday!
