Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, jigging, kite fishing, popping, and spinning. You’re looking at 5 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Marlin, and Snapper, depending on the weather, time of year, and trip length.

Your boat for the day will be a 35’ Cabo Express that comfortably fits up to 8 anglers. The boat has a toilet, AC, ice box, and fighting chair, as well as a top-of-the-line sound system and electronics. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. Drinks and lunch boxes are available for an additional price. Be sure to let the captain know prior to the trip if you would like to add this amenity.

Fishing licenses aren’t included, so get them before the trip. You can keep anything you catch as long as it’s legal to do so. The crew will clean and fillet your catch; however, remember that they work for tips, so gratuity is appreciated.
