Already set to go on my next trip with Canton Bay Charters and can't wait to hook into some more with Captain Brantley! Very impressed with Captain Bennett. He is professional, experienced, and knowledgeable about Mobile Bay and its surrounding waters. Although conditions were not optimal for throwing a fly (wind was blowing), Capt. Bennett was determined to put me on some fish. He quickly found a protected area where I was able to cast effectively and pull a handful of trout in the boat within an hour. After warming up, we eased into some grass flats where the skipper spotted a big redfish in casting distance right away. In addition to his local insight, Capt. Bennett is extremely helpful on deck--all I had to do was show up and fish, and he took care of the rest. Had great conversations and got plenty of tips and angling advice as well. Prime example of a proper charter captain.
Really good inshore fishing trip with Bennet. My son Jordan and I love to fish but had never tried saltwater.
I took my father and son out with Bennett! We had a great time and caught some nice ones!!
