Rippin’ Gills Guide Service
Running angling trips out of Rockport, Rippin’ Gills Guide Service invites you to check out the local bay fishing scene, in style.
Capt. Elijah will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle drift fishing and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 5-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Black Drum, Flounder, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season, and conditions, on the day.
You’ll be fishing from a 24’ Shallow Master boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them prior to the trip. You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip.
There will be complimentary waterss aboard for your convenience, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks, if you prefer. Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

Had a very enjoyable trip.
My wife and I booked a half-day morning trip with Captain Eli looking for speck and reds. The weather was great but the fish weren't very hungry. We heard that several other guides that were out got skunked. We saw plenty of fish but couldn't entice the reds to bite. Captain Eli made sure we didn't go home empty handed though. We stayed out a couple of hours extra until we finally found the specks and took home some supper. Captain Eli was very nice and knowledgeable. It didn't really feel like we were fishing with a guide, more like fishing with a buddy that we have fished with before. If we make another trip to Rockport, we will definitely be looking for Captain Eli.

We had a great time! On a calm, slow day when most boats didn’t look to be catching much, Captain Eli found us some nice fish. He was personable and professional. We would definitely recommend Rippin’ Gills Guide Service.
