Sports Coast Inshore Charters runs angling trips out of Port Richey and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.

Come on aboard with Capt. Brian, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Grouper, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, and Cobia, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your adventure begins on board a 24’ Tidewater boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with a wireless trolling motor. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it.  You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.
