trips out of Manteo,NC Citation SportFishing invites you to come join us for a day on the water.

Capt. Gerrad aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you're after! Depending on the trip and species, you'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, kite fishing, popping, and spinning. You're looking at 10 to 12 hour trips, where you'll usually go after the likes of Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, Tuna, and Tilefish, depending on the weather and time of year.

You'll be fishing from a 57' Island Boatworks vessel with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet, AC, ice box, and a fighting chair. The crew works very hard to help their guests catch the fish of a lifetime and make the day the most memorable experience possible, so please remember to tip your mate at the end of the trip. It's customary to tip 15-20%.

The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it's legal to do so.

We now are offering WiFi for an additional 150 dollars per group

A Great day on the OBX Atlantic

The captain provided fantastic communications throughout the entire process and was highly informative on all questions and comments. the Mate was fantastic and worked hard to enasure everyone in the party had a great experiance. Our group was able to catch and release 2 marlins and we were able to take home 13 fish including a 34lb Mahi. I will definately reach out to them again if the oportunity presents itself. thank you to the Citation Cspitan and Mate for a great day.

Awesome day on the Citation!

Capt. Otto put us on the fish! The Citation was very spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. It had a large bathroom, great A/C, and comfortable seating inside and outside. The boat has tremendous horsepower and got us to the fishing grounds faster than any other boat that went out that day. I got the fish of the lifetime on the trip. Eli, the first mate, worked tireless on our behalf! Thanks again for a great family experience!

    First time trip for me and man what an awesome experience. Caught our limit on mahi as well as four citation white marlin. I would definitely recommend the citation. Eli was the best mate and on top of it all day. The captain put us in the right spots to catch fish. The boat was well maintained and had everything you would need for a full day of fishing.

    We had a great time with the Citation Captain and Crew. We were successful in catching more Mahi than we thought possible in one day and we were a group on newbies to charter fishing.     We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had the absolute best time. Very experienced crew who know where the fish are biting! We caught 14 Mahi and 2 Jacks. I was nervous about a full day fishing trip with kids but they had the best time and are still talking about it!

Well we don't really have a set age limit we obviously don't recommend bringing a freshly new born on your charter, however we have had 2 year olds and up fish with us in the past if the weather was favorable it's always a good time to bring them along
