Local species include Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Bigeye Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Tilefish, Black Seabass, King Mackerel (Kingfish), and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Olan also offers kite fishing.
Capt. Olan runs a 57' sportfisher with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Olan will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, food, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed.
