Max Drag Charters invites you on a fishing adventure of a lifetime in the waters of Orange Beach, Alabama. They’ll take you into the productive offshore waters bursting with diverse fish species. The charter is owned by Captain Curtis Bush who is a 4th-generation captain. The Captain of the vessel Max Drag 2 is Captain Christopher Powell( Capt Bebo). He’s genuinely happy when he sees his guests’ smiling faces, so he’ll go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your trip..
You’ll head out aboard a very comfortable boat that provides a dry and fast ride being powered by two 475 Detroit engines. The 42’ Bertram offshore sportfishing boat is made for long-distance trips and built to withstand any weather conditions, so sit back and relax on what promises to be a thrilling fishing adventure.
She comes fitted with comfortable padded seating, a toilet, a bedroom, and a kitchen for your convenience, as well as a flybridge from which you can fish and sightsee. The onboard GPS and fishfinder are used to locate the schools of fish, and the outriggers to maximize the catch while trolling.
Max Drag Charters can take you to the nearshore and the offshore waters where you can fish for many offshore species. Target King Mackerel, Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, Grouper, Tilefish, Cobia, Bonito, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Swordfish, Marlin, and Sharks, as you embark on an all-rounded fishing experience.
You’ll have a first mate on board who work extremely hard for gratuity so please make sure you tip them 20% of the trip price. They promise to make sure you are satisfied and are having a great time.

We were the crawfish for this boil but my family had a great time with CPT and Crew for this charter. Would highly recommend as we visit every year for our family vacation. Bella’s best time was riding shotgun with the Captain and telling jokes. Thanks again boys, cheers.

We had a great time, the boat was perfect for our group mixed of dads and kids. Plenty of room for the run out to sit and see the bay, and the kids napped inside lol when it came to putting us on fish the captain and first mate did a great job of guiding us to maximize our catch. In all, the trip was exactly what we wanted. As a bonus all of our fish were cooked at the Oso in the harbor. Prolly the best fish of my life, and we fed the whole family!

We had a fantastic trip with Captain Curtis, Captain JC (Curtis's son), and Jason. The boat was what you would want on a long, hot sunny day and the crew could not have done anything to make this a better trip. Our trip was my son's graduation present and Captain Curtis kept us in the fish and Captain JC put us on to the memory of a lifetime with a 30 minute fight versus a shark! And Jason... that man worked his tail off making sure the boys could focus on catching while he took care of everything else. When we go back, we will book Max Drag every time!

We had a great day fishing with Drew. He helped us all day, bait, fish, anything we needed help with. Drew was a great Deckhand. He even brought our fish to the restaurant at the dock and had them cook it up for us. Most importantly Drew was patient with my boys and never looked stressed, he really helped make our day.
