Zanzibar Big Game Fishing is located in Kendwa and has all it takes to show you the unique experience of fishing the Zanzibar waters!
The Captain and crew will do their best to ensure you have a fun day to recharge your soul and relax your mind while enjoying the great outdoors. You'll be using techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and popping, all to get on that bite. This involves 5 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Trevally, depending on the season, length of the trip, and conditions on the day.
Your adventure begins on board a 24' Ocean Spirit boat that can fit a maximum of 6 anglers. The vessel has enough power to reach some excellent fishing grounds, including Leven Bank and Pemba Island. For your convenience, the boat is fitted with a toilet and a fighting chair.
All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. You will share the catch with the crew; please contact the captain before the trip if you have any questions about keeping the catch. Keep in mind that Marlin and Sailfish are strictly catch and release. Don't forget to buy a fishing license before the trip.
You'll find complimentary snacks and drinks on the boat, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to. Full-day trips include lunch.

Had a great day out today, 5hr morning. Captain and crew great, 5 rods out and caught
A fabulous experience! Everything started at 5:45 AM with the transfer from my hotel in Matemwe to Kendwa organized by the company whose owners are very friendly. Arrived in Kendwa at 6:20, 6:30 departure to sea with Captain Mounir and professional angler Mamoudi who are wonderful and do everything possible to make the experience fabulous. I thank the entire crew for giving me this superb big game fishing experience with a catch of a beautiful dorado of about 8 kg. I highly recommend this fishing excursion for Zanzibar, very comfortable boat with drinks, sandwiches and fruit available included, and professional fishing tackle. Everything was top-notch. A huge thank you to you all, if I come back to Zanzibar I won't hesitate to do the experience again! Capri Sébastien. Belgium.
