In answer to your message and the review to us, I would just like to add a few things.

Firstly, as per the pictures shown we definitely have fish finder on board and that it is working order.  We believe you wife went up to the helm and not you, where you would have seen the Simrod - which the navionics showing all the East African ocean and reefs.  The Furuno is the fish finder, sonar and depth sounder that we have on the boat.  advising that we have all the gadets required, however does not always make it easier to catch the fish.

in regards to the age of the boat, yes we know she is old and we advise that on the description of the boat on this platform (1985), however every year she gets taken out of the ocean for 2 months during low season, to get her engines and gearbox overhauled as well as paint work and touch ups done.  By the shape of her you can see she is old, however still one of the top Sportfishing boats in Zanzibar.

We have recently been advised and this is globally as well that there is an increase in the oceans temperature and with that in mind we are saying that fish are diving down lower to get the cooler water.  We have seen a drop in bites and catching for the month of March compared to February where we had a phenomenal month with fishing and tagging Sailfish and Marlin.

We are very sorry that you felt that you have over paid for the experience, as not even to get one bite on a full day charter out.
My team are well experienced team having been with Zanzibar watersports for more than 10 years and they are advising that March has been the hardest month that they can recall over the years where the fish are literally not even biting.
