Beast Coast Fishing Charters 

My wife and I went out with Captain Nick this morning. We live in Port Orange and do some inshore fishing, but we wanted to try offshore fishing. After reading Captain Nick’s reviews, we decided to give him a shot—and let me tell you, the reviews don’t lie! The dude is awesome and literally never stops working to make sure you have a great trip. The weather started out rough and wasn’t what we expected, so we couldn’t get as far offshore as Captain Nick originally planned. But he pivoted quickly, found us some other spots, and got us right on the fish! We caught 50+ fish and even a couple of sharks! If you’re looking to go fishing around New Smyrna, Ponce Inlet, Port Orange, or the Daytona area, stop reading the other reviews and just hire Captain Nick. You’ll thank me later!

Had an incredible experience on this fishing charter! The captain was absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip fun from start to finish. He knew exactly where to go and took the time to help everyone feel comfortable and confident out on the water. The highlight of the trip was catching a shark, which was an unforgettable experience! The captain guided us through the entire process and made it exciting while keeping everything safe and professional. You can really tell he loves what he does. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for an awesome day fishing and a great captain who goes above and beyond!

Captain Nick was absolutely amazing! Boat rode great, just ate up all the swells! Cap worked hard to put us on the fish. Caught my 1st red snapper ever, fought like a MoFo!! He made sure to fulfill my kids dreams.. caught 2 keeper sharks. 18 and 8, absolutely made their whole vacation! In all, we caught almost 300 fish, put a bunch in the box! Cap made sure our trip was Unforgettable!! Did AMAZING with my 8 year old, who isn't an easy kid. Could NOT have been happier with our experience!! On July 3rd, 2026, my two sons (19 & 23) and I wanted to go shark fishing, and Capt. Nick absolutely delivered. Over the course of six hours, we caught 11 sharks! We also had two incredible fish get away—but not before giving us stories we’ll be telling for years. The first was a 6-7 foot Blacktip (or possibly a Spinner) that accidentally took a bait on 30 lb test that was meant for catching smaller bait fish. We fought that shark for 45 minutes before it finally broke the line. Then came the fish of a lifetime. As soon as it hit, Capt. Nick said, “This is something huge. I don’t have anything rigged for something like this.” We had no idea what was on the other end. Two of us stayed on the rod the entire time, constantly switching out because we were gettimg tired. Then it surfaced… An absolutely enormous Tiger Shark. Capt. Nick estimated it at 14-16 feet long. It looked almost as big as the boat! We only got to see it for a minute before it powered away and snapped the line like it was nothing. I have never seen a shark anywhere close to that size. The massive head, huge dorsal fin, powerful tail, and those unmistakable tiger stripes—it was a true sea monster. Beyond the incredible fishing, Capt. Nick was knowledgeable and spent the day teaching us how to become better fishermen. The memories my boys and I made on this trip are something we’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about booking a charter, don’t hesitate. Capt. Nick is no nonsense and if you want to catch fish, he’s your guy. Thank you Nick for an unforgettable day on the water!

We had a good day catching fish, watching dolphins swim by, and enjoying the nice weather. Captain Nick and his mate were great to make sure everyone was having a great time, that we had bait on our lines and in the water, and we were catching any many fish as possible. Captain Nick has great communication skills throughout the whole experience. He also gave very details information before and during the trip to make sure we were prepared on what we needed and also what to expect.

5 STARS IS A UNDERSTATEMENT! I caught a trophy mount sized red snapper! Captain Nick was an amazing guide for our trip. Very knowledgeable and passionate fisherman. He suggested we move our guide trip time to ensure a better catch. 100% delivered. My Fiance and I had a blast. We caught tons a fish! My favorite part was catching the sharks. He even gave us advice on how to cook our catch. The shark was the best tasting fish ive ever ate!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an awesome trip with Beast Coast Fishing Charter! Fishing started off a little slow with a lot of boat traffic early on, but Captain Nick knew exactly what he was doing and stayed patient. Once he found the right spot, it was nonstop action — we ended up catching over 100 fish! On top of that, we saw dolphins, a sea turtle, and even a stingray jumping — just made the whole experience even better. Captain Nick was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very patient with inexperienced anglers. He gave clear and calm instructions, making it easy for everyone to stay comfortable and enjoy the experience. You can tell he really knows the water and works hard to put you on fish. Highly recommend this charter — we’ll definitely be booking again!

What a day we had! Captain Nick was prepared, experienced, and made the fishing trip the best possible experience. He even made some slight modifications (the day before) to our timing based on weather patterns and conditions to ensure we had the greatest possibility to catch fish, and it absolutely paid off. We made a haul of impressive, good eating fish! Captain Nick even allowed our teenage son to attempt to land a Goliath Grouper, his forever “the fish that got away story. ” What an experience! At the end of the day, Captains Nick’s years of experience, commitment to safety, dedication to his client’s desired experience, and his knowledge of weather patterns and fishing hot spots make him a Captain we would hire everytime we are in the area. He even told us where we could go to have our fresh fish cooked for us for dinner that night, and it was delicious! It doesn’t get any better than Beast Coast Charters with Captain Nick.

Captain Nick is awesome! Put us on 3 giant sharks and several smaller fish that my 9 year old and 10 year old nephew were able to handle. Also caught a nice hammerhead. It faught us like crazy! Best fishing trip Iv ever been on. Myself, 2 brothers, my dad and my son and nephew were all able to get fish! If you are wanting the best in the area, I promise you cant go wrong with Captain Nick! Will 100% be booking him again. 

We had a group of six people and Capt Nick was very nice and extremely good at what he does. We had an unbelievable time on the water and cought lots of amazing fish. I will definitely be booking another trip with Captain Nick!
