Located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, Mauritius is known for its great Big Game Fishing.

Come on aboard with Capt. The Wan, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, handline, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 5 to 9-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, Barracuda, and Amberjack, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your boat for the day will be an 21’ Baymaster that fits up to 4 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box and a fighting chair.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.

You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

You’ll find free snacks and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

4 Hour Trip (Dawn or Dusk) on June 30, 2025 • 2 adults

Captain Belon was great at replying back with my queries and even suggested amending the date due to sea current changes so ended up going a day earlier for a higher chance of catching something. He also was able to pick us up from our hotel for a small fee which made things so much easiers we needed to be there for 0500. We caught 6 tuna in total which was great and really enjoyed the whole experience. Thank you Captain Belon (also know as Last Cast fishing bait charter)

My son Jordan had a great time on the boat. It was his first time . The weather was bad off shore. We stayed in the lagoon targeting small fish species. Had a great time and the captain did everything possible to get some small fish. Jordan had a blast. Hope to be back soon.

The trip couldn't have been better. Just the two of us with two anchors. The support was great. The guys were definitely interested in getting us to the fish. Thank you for that. Better than a mass trip. Two locals knew what they were doing. Trip highly recommended.
